The Home Edit's New Container Store Collection Is Finally Here (and It's Sustainable!)

Your junk drawer doesn't stand a chance.

Obsessed with The Home Edit? I get it. The A-list organizing duo, comprised of Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, makes organization feel fun. And now, thanks to the Container Store, it's even easier to reach the same level of picture-perfect organization seen on their Netflix show, Get Organized with The Home Edit (which was recently renewed for Season 2!) in your own home.

While the duo already has an existing line at The Container Store, the new collection, which launched today, promises to be more sustainable than their last. Shearer and Teplin say, “We wanted to provide people with a more sustainable option to our greatest hits. So when we started designing this collection, we already knew how we wanted the products to function; we mostly focused on sourcing the best material and it all came together from there.”

The entire collection is made using renewable Paulownia wood, which offers a different aesthetic than their traditional plastic organizers, in addition to being more sustainable. "It’s native to Southeast Asia and sourced from the fastest growing hardwood tree, even in areas that lack good quality soil. This wood is also ideal because it’s lightweight, and can withstand warping and deformation. Form and function for the win!" say the duo.

This new line features many of the same organizing solutions the pair is known for, like turntables, drawer inserts, and bins, all of which come in two colorways: sand and onyx. "We’re all about creating versatile solutions that can be used in multiple areas of the home. This also allows people to switch up their systems if needed and repurpose the products in a new way," they say.
