The blackbody represented here looks like the equivalent for 5800 K. 5800 K are ~5525°C. The author of the graph states that the representation is for 5525 K (5250°C). My guess is that the author made a double conversion K->°C and hence the value is incorrect. The peak for 5525 K is at around 1.4. The peak for 5800 K is around 1.7 (as shown in the picture).
