Certificate Authentication
We support licensed certification bodies by protecting the integrity of any issued scope and transaction certificates.
Scope and transaction certificates can be authenticated by the certification body who issued the certificate. Select transaction certificates can also be authenticated directly by Textile Exchange including those from certification bodies if not listed separately below. Below you can see the certificate authentication methods used by each licensed certification body. You can learn more about scope certificate and transaction certificate issuance requirements by reviewing the following policies.

To check the authenticity of a scope certificate you have two options: 1. Scan the QR code on the original document which will take you to our Easy-Cert Homepage. 2. Go directly to the Easy-Cert Homepage https://www.easy-cert.com/htm/zertifikate.htm?sprache=en and search client by name. To check the authenticity of a certificate, either scan the QR code which will take you to a web address to view your valid digital certificate, or open your PDF certificate in Acrobat Reader and click “Verify Signatures” to validate the electronic signature.

The QR code in the GRS/RCS/OCS/CCS certificate provides a link to the original document (scope certificate or transaction certificate) on a protected URL provided by Control Union. If the QR code will not return a document, this means that the scope certificate or transaction certificate does not exist anymore.

WebsiteETKO Ekolojik Tarim Kontrol Organizasyonu Ltd. Sti (ETKO)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, you have different options: (1) Send an email verify@etko.com.tr. You will receive a reply within two business days. (2) Scan the QR code located in the footer of each page. The original and last version of the certificate will be opened. The domain you see should be etko.com.tr/. If not, the certificate is forged. (3) Access the website http://www.etko.com.tr/en/customers-list to validate scope certificates. After selecting the standard on this page, you can search with the client’s name to see the original and last version of the certificate. (4) The cryptographic signing certificate used for digitally signing all certificates issued by ETKO can also be used for authentication. Certificate Authority: GlobalSign. WebsiteGCL International Ltd. (GCL)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, scan the QR code located on the top right corner. The domain you see should be https://ssl.gcl-intl.com.
WebsiteGSCI Services Pvt. Ltd. (GSCI)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, scan the QR-code. The domain you see should be www.gsciservices.com/verify_certificate/transaction- certificate for transaction certificates, and www.gsciservices.com/verify_certificate/scope-certificate for scope certificates. If the QR code points to any other website, the certificate is forged.
WebsiteGSCS International Ltd. (GSCS)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, either insert the license number and scope/transaction certificate number in the link https://gscsintl.com/certificate-check/, or scan the QR code on the first page of the certificate, which will direct you to the domain containing the certificate on GSCS Website.
WebsiteIDFL Laboratory and Institute, Inc. (IDFL)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, scan the QR code located in the lower right corner of the document. The domain you see should be the IDFL Online Services page where you can input and submit your certificate number. The number you submit needs to match the certificate exactly. After submission, the valid scope certificate will appear on your device for your verification.

To check the authenticity of the scope certificates and transaction certificates: Please contact us by e-mail: textile@ifcglobal.com.tr We will respond within two working days regarding certificate validity. Please scan the QR code in the footer of each page to confirm the scope certificate or transaction certificate. The original and valid final version of the certificate will be opened. Make sure that the link that opens starts with https://www.ifcglobal.com.tr/en/. Otherwise, the certificate is fake. Please access our website https://www.ifcglobal.com.tr/en/ to verify scope certificates. After selecting the standard on this page, you can search by Client Name to see the original and final version of the certificate.

To check the authenticity of a Transaction Certificate, please scan the QR Code found on the certificate. Alternatively, you can send an email to sourceclear_certificate.validation@intertek.com. For Scope Certificates, please scan the QR code found on the certificate to confirm the certified company name, the certificate number, the standard, the status, and the certificate expiry date. Alternatively, you can send an email to sourceclear_certificate.validation@intertek.com.Transaction certificates issued by Intertek China can be checked using the QR code, the link http://cert.intertek.com.cn/TransactionCertificate/default.aspx?languag e=en, or by sending an e-mail to te.gi@intertek.com. Scope certificates issued by Intertek China can be checked using the QR code or any of the following links according to the scope: GRS – http://www.intertek.com.cn/GRScert; RCS – https://www.intertek.com.cn/RCScert; OCS –https://www.intertek.com.cn/OCScert.
WebsiteIstituto per la Certificazione Etica e Ambientale (ICEA)
To check the authenticity of a certificate, you can use the cryptographic signing certificate, held by ICEA and issued by InfoCert. You can verify the signature either by opening the certificate with Acrobat Reader and clicking on “Verify Signature”, or by opening the certificate with GoSign and choosing to “Verify and Check” the file. To confirm the validity of a GRS or RCS certificate, please choose one of the following options: (1) Scan the QR code on the certificate and see if the GRS/RCS certificate issued by SGS shows on-screen. Each certificate will be uploaded to the QR code system two working days after it is issued; or (2) Send an email to the address CNSHA.GRS@sgs.com and we will respond within two business days.

To check the authenticity of an OCS certificate, send a copy of the certificate to textiles@soilassociation.org. They will check that it remains valid and is the same as the version issued, including the company details, activities, products, and sites certified. If you have a specific concern or query, please include this in your email.
